Our department of the Atlantic Medical Centre specializes in Well-woman care, with health maintenance, Diagnosis and treatment of menstrual disorders, including abnormal bleeding, amenorrhea and polycystic ovarian syndrome, Comprehensive family planning, evaluation and management of abnormal PAP smears/HPV infections including Colposcopy We also perform ultrasonography.

In addition, we treat abnormal pap smear as day procedure, individualized management during menopause, using both hormonal and non-hormonal treatment options. Our team of high skilled gynaecologists perform minimally invasive surgeries including laparoscopy, Surgical and non-surgical management of uterine fibroids, and hysteroscopy to see the inside of the womb.

The Department of Otorhinolaryngology(Ear Nose and Throat) offers comprehensive evaluation and treatment for patients with ear, nose and throat disorders and diseases.

Our medical and surgical services range from treatment of sinusitis and tonsillitis to removal of tonsils, cancerous growths or benign tumors and other complex ear, nose and throat surgeries. Audiology services include hearing tests for adults and children and other hearing services.

Traumatology

We provide the best available and state-of-the-art care for injured patients and their families; to serve as a community resource for issues relating to injury prevention and care. Common Traumatology cases treated are mainly injuries caused by accidents.

Gastro-enterology

The goals of our Gastroenterology Division, is to provide outstanding medical care to persons in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the gastrointestinal tract and liver.

We use clinical expertise, integrated with the newest forms of established diagnostic and therapeutic methods.

Our patients are cared for by teams with broad expertise in all forms of gastroenterological diseases such as Crohns diseases, peptic ulcers, gastroenteritis, and investigations such as gastroscopy

Physiotherapy

By using the knowledge and skills to improve a range of conditions associated with different systems of the body, our Physiotherapy Department helps individuals affected by injury, illness or disability through movement and exercise, manual therapy, education and advice.

We treat injuries such as Back pains (Scoliosis, Spondilosis, Disc prolapses, Spastic muscles, Lombalgia, Ischialgia) by massage, Cryo application, Passive, physical exercise.

Ostepathy(Joint Pains and/or swelling(Post traumatic, Osteoarthritis, Arthrosis)are treated with cryo and ultrasound application, and also Passive Physical exercises. Contractures and – Muscles (after stroke), Joints (post traumatic and post inflammatory) are treated with massage passive and active physical exercises. Post injury are treated with Passive and active physical exercises.

We also have a Mobile Physiotherapy Unit, thus we can come to your workplace or sporting event.
